Thank you for having an interest in becoming a Homestay Host

for Japanese students coming to UK, with Ryugaku Link.

We organise international educational courses for students

going to Boarding Schools and Language Schools in the UK.

​

Most of our students are 11 to 18 years old (Years 7-13), and

we have adult students as well.

​

What is a homestay?

We place students to stay with you in your home whilst they are studying in the UK.

 

Why should I become a homestay host?

By becoming a homestay host you will:

●　earn extra income

●　meet people from Japan and share fascinating stories and experiences from your different cultures and backgrounds

●　introduce students to British life and culture and help with their language learning

●　enjoy a rewarding experience

 

What do I need to do and provide as a homestay host?

All we ask is that students:

●　have their own bedroom, with bed linen provided

●　have access to a shared bathroom, or own en-suite, with towels provided 

●　rooms cleaned every week

●　are provided with meals every day

●　have access to wi-fi

●　do students laundry, at least once per week

●　involve the student with host family activities, such as cinema trips and meals out

●　all adults living at homestay are DBS checked
